Additional Information
Littelfuse SymCom 460-575-14 MotorSaver is designed to protect 3-phase motors from damaging power conditions. The 460's wide operating range of voltages, combined with UL and CE compliance, makes this a perfect choice for your motor's protection. This is a must have device for applications where power supply quality is uncertain. This premium quality and cost-effective protection device is an alternative from high replacement costs of your electric motor.
The 460-575-14 MotorSavers unique microcontroller-based voltage and phase-sensing circuit constantly monitors the 3-phase voltages (475-600VAC) to detect harmful power line conditions. When a harmful condition is detected, the MotorSaver's output relay is deactivated after a specified trip delay. The output relay reactivates after power line conditions return to an acceptable level for a specified amount of time (restart delay). The trip delay prevents nuisance tripping due to rapidly fluctuating power line conditions.
Protects 3-Phase Motors From:
• Loss of any phase
• Low voltage
• High voltage
• Voltage unbalance
• Rapid Cycling
Note: Commonly used in Eastern Canada and on generator units that generate 600VAC power. It is equipped with 2 sets of contacts: Form A (NO) and Form B (NC) (used for applications requiring 2 different voltages such as 5VDC for a PLC input and 115VAC for an alarm).
